「新しい始まり」と「光」がコンセプト。- 誕生を表す「卵」、願いや想いを表す「光の源」、そして七信特有の流れと泡を内包するガラスの景色が調和することで生まれたオブジェ。狩野七信襲名後、初めてのオフィシャルなガラス作品である。タイトルは、ZERO。ゼロという言葉は、さまざまな分野で示される概念。ゼロ＝無、何もないという「存在の不確実性」を意味する一方で、存在自体を問い直すきっかけであり、「存在への可能性」を生み出す。自分自身が空っぽに思える事がある、でもそれは間違いなく何もないということではない。過去に経験した感情や学びは、確実に私たち自身の糧となる。

ガラスとなる原型には実際の卵を使用。石膏原型を制作し、ガラスを鋳造する。作品ひとつひとつの形、ガラスの景色(柄)は、同じものがなく唯一無二の存在である。どこか温かみのある有機的な歪みの愛おしさを感じる。また吹きガラスとは異なるためガラスの表面を磨き上げるまでに、１０以上の工程を必要とする。

*ガラスピースは、一つひとつ狩野七信の手仕事により制作しているため、ガラスの中の景色(柄)の指定は出来かねます。またサイズも個体差(±10mm以内)が生じる場合がございます。ガラスの表面に小さな気泡の跡が出ることをご了承くださいませ。

This artwork focuses on the ideas of "new beginnings" and "light”. It combines: -An egg representing birth. -Light symbolising wishes and thoughts. -The Unique flow and bubbles of the glass. Titled "ZERO”, this is the first official glass artwork by Nananobu Kano(21 generation of the kano school).

The word "ZERO” can represent nothingness, highlighting the uncertainly of existence. However, it also encourages us to reconsider our sense of being and opens up new possibilities.  Sometimes, we may feel empty, but that doesn't mean we are lacking. Our past emotions and experiences are essential to our growth. 

Using an actual egg as a glass mould. Each piece is unique, with its own shapes and landscapes(patterns) of the glass, making it truly one of a kind. The beauty lies in its imperfect shape, embodying the essence of handcrafted artistry. Unlike blown glass, the process involves over ten steps to achieve a polished finish on the surface.

*Each glass piece is handcrafted by Nananobu Kano, so unfortunately, we cannot guarantee specific patterns within the glass. The size may differ slightly, with variations of up to ±10mm.
